"Accept The Challenge" now!
3 Days. 50 Miles. Closer to a cure.

The Walk Will Challenge You, The Experience Will Change You.

Make an extraordinary difference in the lives of the 6,000 people locally and 2.5 million worldwide living with multiple sclerosis by participating in the Dean Team Automotive Challenge Walk MS on June 4-6, 2010.

The 2009 Walk was a big success, and we look forward to our Sponsorship of the 2010 MS Walk!

More than 200 Americans are diagnosed with MS every week. This is why we walk.

Dean Team Automotive MS Challenge Walk

Who you are is illuminated by how you help.  For those with a passion to make a difference, there is the MS Challenge Walk.

This is YOUR walk because you have the determination to do the right thing: to make the world a better place.  You know the enduring transformation begins with a tiny flame and that one long journey over 3 days will shorten the road to a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Among the devastating setbacks for those who have MS is a loss of the ability to put one foot in front of the other.  As with other events of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the MS Challenge Walk affirms our commitment to stop MS.  When you walk, you move the world closer to a cure.

It's not about being athletic; it’s about showing compassion.  This may be the greatest walk you ever take.  Through this 3-day, 50-mile event, participants raise money for vital research and programming dedicated to find a cure—and aiding those who live with MS

10 YEARS OF FIGHTING PEDIATRIC CANCER

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Hyundai and its dealers’ commitment to supporting the fight against pediatric cancer. What began in 1998 as a local initiative supported by New England-area Hyundai dealers to raise funds for the Jimmy Fund at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has grown into a nationwide program supported by all of Hyundai’s nearly 800 dealers.

Since its inception in 2004, Hyundai Hope on Wheels, which became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization this year, has donated more than $10 million to institutions nationwide to help kids fight cancer. The Hope on Wheels Medical Advisory Board is made up of leaders in cancer research treatment, including Dr. Leonard Sender, Dr. David Poplack and Dr. Dan Wechsler, and has provided essential guidance in the development of the Hope on Wheels program.

This summer, the Hope on Wheels Tour will travel to 32 institutions across the country and donate $1.6 million to support further training and study for doctors involved in pediatric cancer research. Hope on Wheels has named these medical professionals the Hope on Wheels Scholars. In addition, Hyundai and its dealers donated six Hyundai Santa Fe vehicles to select children’s hospitals.

The 2008 Hope on Wheels Tour will hold ceremonial donation events at 32 pediatric cancer research institutions and 30 local Light The Night Walks across the country throughout the summer and fall. Each event will celebrate children’s lives and treatment milestones by capturing their colorful handprints on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe vehicle.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Hope on Wheels and Hyundai dealers will also expand its program to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s pediatric cancer research initiatives. Click here to learn more about Hyundai Hope on Wheels’ support of the organization’s Light The Night Walk.

We decided to do what we could to help the families of this tragedy. We have opened an account at Bank of America to accept donations, and have placed a donation link on this site below. All funds collected will go to the families of those lost.
